Tim and his band performed for the first time at Villain's Bistro in downtown Windsor. A large crowd was on hand for the show that also featured songwriter Claudia Rae making her first show billed performance, The Tipsy Two and Whoa Nellie.
Tim's setlist highlights included two covers Tim had never done before with the band. One of those, the traditional “Duncan & Brady”, Tim had never performed before at all. The other had only been performed solo twice before, 7 years ago - Bob Dylan's “Standing In The Doorway”. (April 28th 2018 at Taloola Cafe in Windsor & December 28th 2018 at Merlis' in Kingsville).
Additional setlist highlights included the return of “Midnight Trail” in a new arrangement (the first since May 11 2024 in Windsor). Rare outings for Manifests songs “The C&O Don't Stop Here Anymore” (also the first since May 11 2024) and “South Street Blues”.
The band was the same lineup from the Canada South Blues Society show earlier in the month on October 3rd with Joel Mayville and Johnny “Guitar” Mazzei trading electric lead licks, with regulars Scott Farago on drums and Billy “Bee” MacKenzie on bass.
Tim and his band (along with The Tipsy Two and Mike Houston) will be performing next in Chatham, Ontario at the Jazzbah club on Saturday November 8th.
