Tim and two members of his band performed two sets for the "Record Pop-Up" trade show at Chapter Two Brewery in Walkerville / Windsor on Sunday afternoon. The event was hosted by Chapter Two and the "Spinning Stories" documentary project director Syx Langemann, who filmed the event and recorded interviews with patrons for the documentary project. Tim was interviewed for the documentary earlier this month.
Setlist highlights included several first ever performances by Tim, including covers of Bill Monroe's "Darling Corey", Cindy Walker's "Miss Molly", Hank Williams' "Moanin' The Blues", Little Walter's "Hate To See You Go", a blend of several different versions of "In The Jailhouse Now" and Buck Owens' "Together Again". Allison Brown also made a surprise appearance. A live debut of a Manifests song was also performed - "The Devil's Tail", in a heavily revised form than how it appears on the record.
